LaRitzy May 2016 Vegan Beauty Box Review
Y’all ready to peep the goodies from May’s LaRitzy vegan beauty box? For those of you new to Laritzy, it’s a subscription box that includes 4-5 full-size and luxury-size non-toxic and cruelty-free beauty products. There are different subscription options that vary in price and get cheaper with duration, but the low commitment month-to-month option is $24.99/month. If you wanna get a little taste of what LaRitzy has to offer, you can also sign up for their monthly LaMini box (2-3 full and luxury size vegan beauty finds) for $14.99.
Shipping is free to the US and is $5 to Canada.

LaRitzy’s May 2016 Vegan Beauty Box included:
Jacq’s Organics Carrot Seed Face Toner,* $15 – Ooh, this stuff smells good! It has a refreshing and uplifting scent that includes peppermint, neroli, basil, and geranium. It also made with anti-aging carrot seed oil which is especially nice (#30something in da hizzy). I can’t seem to find this particular toner on Jacq’s website. 🙁 This is something I could definitely see myself stocking up on.
Manna Kadar Cosmetics Lip Locked Priming Gloss Stain in Lucky,* $24 – This shade, you guys… GORG! It’s an everyday wearable nude petal pink and it’s a gloss, primer, and lip stain all in one. Thank bejesus because typical lip stains are drying and feathery af! I love that it’s enriched with vitamins A & E and berry extract for an extra boost of nourishment. I seriously can’t get over this shade!
bellapierre Cosmetics Diamond Top & Base Coat, $15 – Oh man, I already have 5 base/top coats that I use pretty regularly. I’m currently really digging the gel-like ones that are thick and über glossy (helps nails photograph especially well). I haven’t tried this base/top coat yet but it appears to be way thinner (not gel-like at all), which is totally fine. I’ll give this a go for next week’s Mani Monday feature and report back.
Glam Her Booth Foundation or Powder Brush,* $10 – This is a beautiful and densely packed all-purpose foundation/powder brush. It’s made with soft synthetic bristles (vegan & cruelty-free), and it really does make foundation much easier to apply. I typically use a Beauty Blender and my fingers for applying foundation, but this works really, really well. The small rounded shape helps to get into those hard to reach areas around the nose, eyes, and lips.

Overall impression: LaRitzy is definitely consistent with exceeding my expectations. The value of this box is ~$65 which is insane considering LaRitzy is only $25 and that includes free shipping! Such a crazy-good deal! This month’s box was such a hit – I’ll be using every single item, and I’m super excited about that. The lip stain is crazy beautiful, flattering and feels amazing on the lips (hella moisturizing and lasts forevs); the toner is right up my alley – super pure ingredients, anti-aging, with a refreshing scent; the base/top coat will get lots of use since I paint my nails weekly; and the foundation brush is stunning (rose gold and pink handle, yasssssss!) and it feels really high quality.
